Hi-Macs Aurora Bianco Worktop

How to buy our worktops

Step 1: Choose a worktop material

Browse our worktop range to choose your preferred material. We don’t need to know the colour you’d like at this stage because we’ll send you the price for all the colours in the range you choose.

Step 2: Request a same day quote

Fill in the ‘request a same day quote’ form with your contact details, preferred worktop materials (choose up to three) and worktop dimensions. Please let us know as much detail as possible, such as if you’d like upstands, splashbacks, a sink, LED lights or pop-up sockets.

To provide you with the most accurate quote, we need exact measurements or a detailed plan of your kitchen. If you don’t have a plan, don’t worry. Simply draw one out on a piece of paper (see the example below). You can upload an image of the plan onto the online form.

We’ll send your quote back the same day.

Step 3: Place your order

Once you’ve received our quote, we’re sure you’ll want to order your new worktops with us. Simply follow the instructions in the quote email to place your order. All we need is a 25% deposit. Once this is paid, we’ll book a date for templating.

Step 4: Templating and finalising the details

Templating is when we visit your home, take measurements by laser for accuracy and make a template of your worktop. We can only do this once your base cabinets have been fitted, so the date will need to coincide with your new kitchen installation or any other trades. We’re very flexible, though. So, if we book a date and things don’t go to plan, we’ll happily change it to suit you.

Templating takes around two hours, and you’ll need to ensure a decision-maker is there for us to speak to. It’s at this stage that all the details will be finalised. Such as what cut-outs are needed for the sink, taps and hob, and what edge profile and overhangs you’d like.

To choose your colour, you can order free worktop samples* from us before templating. However, we always recommend making the final decision once your new kitchen has been installed. Our templaters will always carry the full range of colour samples and can offer you advice on the day of templating.

Once everything has been finalised, we’ll ask you to sign-off the template and detailed worktop description.

Once our team has passed your specifications to our manufacturing department, we’ll contact you to let you know the final cost. In most cases, this doesn’t change from the original quote unless you’ve made any changes, such as adding extra items or changing the colour. Once the final cost is agreed, we’ll send you the balance invoice and start manufacturing your worktop.

*Excludes Scalea Natural Stone and Sensa Granite.

Step 5: Installation

We aim to install your worktop 1-2 weeks after the template has been completed. We’ll give you at least three working days’ notice of your installation date. The installation will take between 2-4 hours, depending on the size of the job.
